Hello my lovelies! It has been a while since I have done a makeup review post. Today we are going to change that! I hope you beauties are having a fabulous day, and lets jump right into this!
Let’s first start off by talking about Anastasia Beverly Hill palettes! My three favorite palettes are:
- Modern Renaissance
- Soft Glam
These palettes are STUNNING! Pigmentation is there one hundred percent! Super buttery, and velvety smooth. They blend out like a dream, as you blend them they don’t lose the pigment, and they are not patchy at all. A lot of reviews on the Subculture palette were not good at all, so I didn’t have high expectations for it. I was shook when I used this palette, I did have a little bit of fallout but other than that it was perfect.
Lets move on to primers! I am loving Soap & Glory “One Heck Of A Blot”, Smashbox “Redness Reducer.”, Smashbox “Photo Finish Primer- in So Chill.” I know that’s a lot to put on your skin, and that’s just the base! Let me tell you, this combo works great for my skin. I have very oily skin, acne, large pores, and a lot of redness. After I apply these products to my face no longer have to worry about having all those issues. Its like magic and they are all gone! These primers are amazing on their own, but together they are so much greater!
Favorite foundation has to be Fenty Beauty! Between my primers, and this foundation it is like I am flawless and airbrushed. Coverage is unreal, and it’s not heavy feeling on your skin. My favorite way is to blend this out with a beauty sponge. I have used a brush as well, but I feel like it makes me look like I have cake face. Also leaves this heavy feel on my skin. I don’t like being able to feel my makeup on my skin. I know sounds weird right, but there are ways out there to have a full glam face of makeup on, but the makeup not feeling super heavy. To me this foundation does just that.
Obviously for concealer my favorite is the Tarte Shape Tape! This one is a given, and on a serious note the only concealer I have used for the past year. I buy all the makeup I have, and let me tell you. This concealer is so good I will spend my last $30 on it if I am out. That is how much I love this product, and I can’t stand to be without it. It is my holy grail, number one concealer! Super full coverage, super lightweight on the skin, blends out effortlessly. Seriously the best concealer on the market!
Mascara time! I am super late on this band wagon but I am in love with the Benefit Roller Lash mascara. I just got this about a week ago, and have used it everyday, several times a day! Love the wand on this because it coats every single lash without clumping together, and it feels like you have nothing on your eyes. The formula is very lightweight, yet gives you voluminous lashes without wearing the falsies!
Up next is bronzer! Right now I am loving Benefit Hula Bronzer, and Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer. Can we please talk about the chocolate smell in the Too Faced bronzer. Oh my goodness it is the best smell ever, and the product is just as good. Super smooth, highly pigmented and when I say pigmented I mean pigmented! I just have to barely tap my brush in to get a perfectly bronzed face. The fact that your face smells like chocolate all day just makes it even better. Benefit Hula Bronzer is my new favorite product to use for contouring. It gives you that nice subtle contour, and if that’s not your cup of tea, you can build it up without it turning you orange and feeling like you’re wearing a ton of product on your face.
Another Benefit product I want to talk about is the Benefit GALifornia Powder Blush. Such a beautiful shade, and enough pigment in one little tap of your brush to do both cheeks! I am super picky when it comes to blush, I will only wear certain colors, and honestly I wasn’t crazy about this shade, but I wanted to give it a try. Fell in love, and honestly I can’t get over this shade. No kick back, not powdery, glides on like butter!
Last but not least is highlighter. Let me start off by saying I am not a liquid highlight kind of girl, for some reason it just never looks right on me. I cam across the Wet n Wild MegaGlo Hello Halo highlighter. I don’t use this as an actual highlight on my face even though it looks really good on me, but I use this to mix into my foundation to give me that beautiful inner glow look. Mixes very well with my Fenty Beauty foundation, and you do not look like the tin man when you are done.
