My love for makeup continues to grow each and everyday! If you are a makeup obsessed beauty like me then stay tuned for todays review on the L.A. Girl Pro Matte Foundation.
Lets talk packaging: Its very sleek. Matte black top. Really nice heavy duty bottle. Comes with a pump which is a must need for me! I don’t like pouring out foundation because I just feel like I am constantly pouring out way to much! The packaging on this product reminds me of a high end product.
Next is COVERAGE: I’m a full coverage kind of girl! I have a lot of acne and scarring so I am always wanting to hide them! This is a medium to full coverage. You can build it up without it looking cakey on your face. I wanted to see how much you could build this foundation up, so I did a week challenge where I put two heavy duty layers on to see how it would work on my skin. The results are in! It does not settle into any pores or fine lines. It does not run off or budge through out the day. It will last you ALL DAY.
Formula: I was honestly expecting it to be a super thick consistency because its a matte foundation, but its actually really nice and creamy! It does not feel heavy on your face at all. I do recommend going a shade lighter because it does oxidize. Also works well with other products on top! I have combo skin, and it does not attach to dry patches. My friend also tested this out for me and she has very dry skin. It does not cling to her skin at all or extenuate or texture. Works for all skin types.
Now its on to the price: This foundation retails for around $8-$10. Depending on where you buy it. I bought mine at Ulta for $9.99, but I also have seen it at CVS for $8.99.
Would I recommend this product: I most certainly would! Whether you are a master at makeup or just beginning. Everyone should have this in there makeup drawer!
