Let’s face it, how many of us actually wash our face every night? I am one hundred percent not someone who does. I’m that girl who falls asleep with her makeup on, or I just use a makeup remover cloth to take it off. We all know it, those cloths do not take all the makeup off, no matter how many of them you use! I am going to break down my skin care routine for you step by step. You can opt out some of these steps to make it more simple, or add more to make it more extravagant.
There are three different types of women in this world:
1. Lazy women: These are the girls who maybe just use cleanser and a moisturizer and call it a day.
2. Average women: Girls in this category use makeup remover, cleanser, masks, moisturizers, maybe a acne spot treatment.
3. Extravagant women: These women go the whole nine yards when it comes to skincare! Makeup remover, cleansers, toner, masks, moisturizers, spot treatments, eye creams, correctors etc.
I’m an average joe. My sincere is simple and to the point, so lets get started! Also I will leave all prices listen down below at the very end in case you are interested in these products.
I start by taking off all my makeup using this Say Yes to Coconut micellar water, and coconut facial cleansing wipes. I first use the micellar water to get all my stubborn makeup off, without tugging and pulling on my eyes and face. After I just take the facial cloth and wipe away any extra that I have left!
My next step is to use a facial scrub mask. Usually I do not do a mask until after I have cleansed and everything else, but this mask is an exception. This is the L’oreal Pure Clay Mask. Has great exfoliating beads in it so as your applying it your helping scrape up some of the dead skin cells. I let mine sit on my skin for about twenty to thirty minutes, then I rinse off with very warm water. While your washing it off use circular motions so it exfoliates all the rest of the dead skin off.
Time to cleanse! This is my favorite part because I feel like I am washing all the stress of the day away. This is the Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea cleanser. I have very oily skin, and this is the best cleanser that I have found that actually works for me! It has all these natural ingredients that help soothe your face. This lathers so well and my face feels so clean after I use this!
After my faced is all nice and cleansed, and my pores are all open I use these! This is the Biore Deep Cleansing Charcoal Pore Strips. Works wonders for getting rid of all those nasty black heads! Make sure your nose is nice and wet otherwise the strip wont stick! Once it is on and placed where you would like it, leave it on your nose for about ten minutes. It will get nice and hard and you will know that it is time to take it off. Once you remove the strip you will be able to see all of the grossness that came out of your pores! I think its kind of cool to see what all comes out but I’m weird I guess. Any residue that is left on your nose just wipe off with a warm wash cloth.
Last but not least, its time to scrub those lips, and moisturize! I always like to use a lip scrub to get all the dead skin off my lips. Especially in the winter! This is the Mary Kay Satin Lips, but I also love the Jeffree Star lip scrub. I also make my own out of brown sugar, honey, and some essential oils. I put the product on my lips and then I take a tooth brush and get to scrubbing! Then just wipe it off and you have super soft kissable lips!
After I am done exfoliating my lips I’m finally read to moisturize. I use the Tarte Drink of H2O moisturizer. This feels so cooling on the face and neck. This is like a thirst quencher for your skin! Works perfect for my super oily skin, I honestly did not think it would be as good as it is! Tarte never disappoints! Most certainly recommend this product for all skin types.
